Cleveland, Ohio, United States
The Ohio Central Basin Steelheaders fishing club is an association of fishermen which was formed in 1984 and is dedicated to the protection and promotion of steelhead sport fishing in Ohio and the Great Lakes region. OCBS works hard for you, the steelhead fisherman, to help insure that the steelhead programs will be here for you tomorrow and for future generations to come. The OCBS Team has many ongoing projects and tasks to achieve our goals. OCBS has a great partnership with our state's Ohio Division of Natural Resources (ODNR) and their steelhead stocking program. We are a proud member of the Great Lakes Sport Fishing Council. OCBS works closely with the Cleveland, Lorain, Ashtabula, and Lake County Metro Parks to provide fishing related programs which benefit the general public.

Take a moment and contact your Senator and ask him
to vote for the Sportsman's Act of 2012. It will affect all
sportsmen , fishing, hunting, trapping etc!

Dear angler,
Anglers across the United States were disappointed
on Monday when the Senate failed to move the Sportsmen’s Act of 2012 (S. 3525) based on a
budget procedural question.

Don’t let this happen again – take action now!

This historic bill contains 17 key provisions for
anglers, hunters, and fish and wildlife conservation
and the Congressional Budget Office has stated that overall, S. 3525 would reduce the nation’s deficit by $5 million.
Many thought this was the end but there is new hope that the Sportsmen’s Act of 2012 will be brought to the floor for vote AGAIN!

Now, more than ever before, we need you to
contact your Senator and urge them to vote
 ‘YES’ on S. 3525.

If you – and anglers across the US - don’t take
action now this bill may not make it to vote.
We will not have an opportunity like this again.

Take action now. Call or message your Senator.
A better future for fishing hinges on this bill –
and your efforts to get it to a vote.
